It’s been a long slog but the end is almost in sight.
After months of delays, work is now progressing well and we have an official reopening date of January 27th 2022.
When it finally opens, we will have achieved all of our HWA objectives including:
- Lunchtime Library opening
- Reduced fees for Bullen Hall hire
- 21st century facilities to be proud of including
- Brand new kitchen
- Improved layout
- Modern AV and comms
- Superfast broadband
- Remote access system
- Clear and helpful external signage
Additionally, we have taken the opportunity to have many other improvements made that had become necessary after years of neglect:
- Replacement fire escape doors and window frames etc
- Modern intruder alarm system throughout
- New fire alarm system throughout
- Sustainability improvements
- Upgraded electrics
- Replacement drainage
- Replacement garden fencing and gates
