Opinion Survey Results

During November 2024 the Association carried out an Opinion Survey of local residents. The survey was publicised through the HWA Magazine (distributed to every home and business in Hampton Wick), through the email news and the website.

We had a great response – 57 people took the time to respond to a thorough survey. In addition to “tick the box” sections, the survey also asked respondents to describe in their own words what they do and do not like about Hampton Wick, and to provide us with suggestions on what they would like the HWA to do more of.

The number of respondents and the detailed answers that many people provided meant that we turned to AI (MS CoPilot) to help us summarise the responses. Click here to download the PDF summary.

The survey has given the HWA committee plenty of food for thought. Our first action has been to add some new committee roles:

- Transport (rail, buses, roads and pavements, cycling)
- Parks
- River issues

These subjects will now be standing agenda items at our monthly committee meetings. Mark Merrington has already offered to take on River issues in addition to Membership and other responsibilities.
