Sainsbury's Local - how's it going?

Under the terms of its liquor licence, the Hampton Wick branch of Sainsbury’s Local is required to meet periodically with the HWA.
At the end of 2025 we asked people to let us know their views about the store, almost one year after it opened. In January, we presented those views at a meeting with the Sainsbury’s Local manager. It was a useful meeting, and we wrote to the manager to summarise the points agreed. Click here to read the full report.
Our next meeting is scheduled for 8th July, when we will be reviewing progress.
In advance of that, we need everyone to let us know if things have improved, stayed the same or got worse. Specific points to consider include:
- Deliveries: timing, obstruction, noise
- Waste collections
- Illuminated signage
- Litter, graffiti
- Shoplifting
